Climbing The Tree of Life

Contributor: Reverend David Gellman

Climbing the Tree of Life is an upcoming study program to be made available to online students in 2006.

The Tree of Life – also known as the 32 Paths of Wisdom - is a map of our universe composed of three columns, 10 energy spheres or sephirot, and 22 diagonal, vertical and horizontal paths. The 10 sephirot make up the primary connecting points on the Tree of Life and are traditionally named kether (potential), chokmah (wisdom), binah (understanding), hesed (mercy), gevurah (justice), tiphareth (beauty and harmony), netzach (victory), hod (intelligence), yesod (integrity) and malkuth (manifestation).

In the Universal Oneness Tree of Life course, you can learn about these 10 spheres in much greater depth and detail. You can discover, learn and understand:

  1. How these ten sephirot can open doors to bring you fulfillment in every aspect of your life.
  2. How to meditate on the specific energy of each sephirot to manifest a great life.
  3. How the 10 commandments are imbedded within the ten sephirot, and how to interpret them in modern language and situations.
  4. How the chakras are directly connected to the sephirot in the Tree of Life.
  5. How to read and understand the Tree of Life through a simple formula that incorporates and fully integrates the universal archetypes of the planets, signs of the zodiac, 22 Hebrew letters and 22 major arcana of the traditional tarot.
  6. Clearly and quite literally how Venus – or the power of love – is the glue that holds the Tree of Life together.
