Universal Oneness Spiritual Centre -- a division of Universal Oneness United Faith Canada

We seek eager men and women to join us in a weekly service of worship for all faiths. As a true Interfaith Spirit-based organization, we will honour all faiths and key spiritual festivals at our weekly events.

Our goal is to break down the barriers that have created religious intolerance in the past by demonstrating that we all follow the same spiritual paths. While the words and names may be different, the beliefs are amazingly similar. The series of presentations and services in the upcoming year will explore the common underlying themes, which are central in so many of the world's spiritual systems.

We strive to honour the holidays of everyone. We will draw on as many available tools as possible, since all spiritual systems have cycles of time designated by specific days and energies. We have worked hard to become a truly multi-denominational oasis within a spiritual sea of confusion. Come and join us for an experience that will open your eyes and your heart.

Every spiritual event will include the following rituals:

• An honouring of interfaith holidays and celebrations for religious or spiritual events taking place in that month for any faith.

• A ceremony for the elements of fire, earth, air and water, which are prevalent in our lives and represent nature as a sign of the creator around us.

• A thankfulness circle where everyone can give their thanks and voices of gratitude toward aspects in life they are grateful for.

• A healing circle where everyone can send positive energy and call out the names of anyone in distress or need, so that eeryone gathered can focus goodwill onto them.

• a prayer for the souls departed circle where we can honour the loss of a family member of close friend who meant something special to whomever is present.

• A blessing and sharing of food and drink to honour what we have in our lives, and to help seal the community spirit of breaking bread together (This segment is available for individuals to honour or sponsor a special person; to acknowledge the anniversary of a death of a loved one, a birthday, or any other significant date in a person's life that could use extra energy.)

• We end with prayers chosen at random by the congregants from our collection of interfaith prayers or indiviuals can create their own exspression of worship and prayer to connect them to their own higher power. Drumming and chanting is encouraged at all ceremonies.
